Create 365 - Day 58

Tiny shoes about 2.5" long have come clomping across my table.

I can't wait to be done with this piece. Not because it's taken me a bit of time to finish, since I'm creating some elements as I go, but because I can't wait for it to be shared!

Create 365 - Day 57

Ahh, so happy to be able to sew without a hazmat suit. My head is clear...ish. Well, as clear as it gets. I'm finally almost completely caught up on the custom work I had piled up before I got the plague. That's what I get for playing with the plague monkeys, but they're just so darn cute! Granted I was able to finish a few smaller things between sanitizing dips just not as much, or as creative, as I would have liked. Although, I must say Grumpy Kitten Plush is a cutie pie.

Right now there is a tiny naked person on my sewing table, the last of the current round of custom work, and this disturbs me a little. I better hurry up and finish their clothes. And, since I can't post the little flasher just yet here's another Grumpy Cat Keychain Charm.

Yeah I know, not terribly exciting but it's what people keep ordering so there it is. I also made a batch of pumpkin muffins because pumpkin muffins are friggin delicious and I needed to use up my pumpkin smush before it started growing not-tasty things.

Create 365 - Day 3

More Valentine Batling Keychain Plush!

Batling-Valentine-YlwWhtBlk1-1

The white one makes me think of Honduran white bats. Yes, there are white bats! Super cute little powder puffs that hang out under big jungle leaves.

These cute critters will be up in my shop in a couple days. Color requests are welcome!

Now what to make tomorrow...

More Custom Pocket sized Zombie

If you missed the first two from my super fun custom order, you can find Capt Hammer & Dr Horrible in this post. Here are the rest as promised!

I'm pretty sure it all started with this guy and went horribly, horribly wrong from there. The Not-so-fresh traditional zombie. Check out those delish "leather" (aka embossed felt) pants! Just don't get too close, he looks kinda hungry.

Next up, we've got another crazed Santa on the loose...

...and his Elf-y minion! If you hear a jingle bell chiming... RUN.

Ahwoooo! Man, that is one pissed off Burlesque Girl and I'd steer clear if I were you. One minute she putting on the best burly show of her life and the next thing she knows her rabid fans, well, turned out to be truly rabid.

(See the back view here.)

And, here's the poor little nerd that just wanted to see what was under those black rosettes. His mom's going to kill him over the state of his clothes! At least he didn't break his glasses or loose his pocket protector [Yes, I really made a miniature pocket protector].

Pocket Zombie Santa Mini Plush

Is it me or is Pocket Zombie Santa arguing with the skeleton?

Anywho, as you can see poor Santa had a run-in with some naughty zombies. They gnawed on Santa's head and arm a bit before the reindeer could stomp their zombie butts into the ground where they belonged. But there's no keeping Santa from making his rounds! Granted with a shuffle and grunt, preferring brains and guts over milk and cookies these days but, hey, what can you do?

♦ Stands approximately 4.5 inches (11.43cm) high from brain to feet.
♦ Individually cut from synthetic felt, sewn, and embroidered by my two hands.
♦ "Blood" is freehand painted.
♦ Comes in a "Body Bag" (aka tissue holder)
♦ Can be left as is, a Mini Plush, ~or~ can have a ornament loop/hook added ~or~ a pinback added at no extra charge

This one sold immediately upon listing but I have at least one more in the works --among finishing a custom trench before the 15th, stitching & listing headbands,  cleaning house and moving furniture. Soon to add painting walls to that list O_o Halp!

Custom requests are always welcome, just convo me!

Attack of the Batlings!

Okay, not so much an attack as maybe a cuddle, at the worst, a nibble.

Check out the new Batlings in my shop now!

Batlings-Multi3

Any Batling Ornament can be created as a Pin, any Pin can be created as an Ornament. Or, how about a Snap Clip?! Have a color combination of your own you'd like? Order here or if currently "sold" just convo me.

These make great Halloween and unusual, but fun, Christmas accessories and ornaments!

EDT Secret Scrooge Swap

Last month the lovely AgonysDecay put the call out for participants for a Secret Scrooge Swap so of course I couldn't pass that up. I happily can show you the goodies I sent since my recipient, SyntheticSeduction, has already received her package. She says, "He's just the cutest thing ever!" What do you think?

  • A Zombie Hand Puppet
  • A Grey & Purple Fleece Neck Warmer/Gaiter/Cowl/whatever-the-heck-you-want-to-call-it (embroidered on a vintage sewing machine, ah yeah)
  • Skull & bones paintable/inkable foam stickers
  • Skull Beads

(More pics in my Flickr if you want to see closeups, etc)

The Zombie Hand Puppet is completely hand cut, stitched & painted. He is the first of many to come hopefully and it the "poster zombie" for my upcoming Zombie Hand Puppet pattern I hope to have for sale soon-like. The Neck Warmer was serged on my little Bernette & line by line embroidered on my vintage Pfaff 230 sewing machine (love that machine!).

I had a lot of fun making the Hand Puppet & Neck Warmer. After a couple failed attempts I finally figured out what the heck I wanted to make for her. I can't wait to see what everyone else made and I'll be sure to share what I receive!
