So, I have been crazy busy cleaning up the house for a weekend guest, sewing, swapping, and ironing out some custom work. Which explains the lack of posts these past few days. But, enough about that, here are my latest hand stitchings:

Another spooky cute critter for Valentine's Day, a sweet little blue-eyed VooDoll!

It'll be available in my shop shortly, or you can always order one in custom colors. Black hearts are also an option! Just include the request in the "message to seller".

Create 365 - Day 15

I put the finishing touches on the chibi version of Vic Fuentes of Pierce the Veil! Yes, that is who I was turning into a cute, adorable, little chibi doll. The doll even has a nose ring like Vic!

Sheesh, everybody's got to get their picture with chibi-Vic now? Good thing chibi-Vic is going to his new home soon. I've got critters piddling themselves and swooning all over the place. Who's gotta clean up after them? Not chibi-Vic. Hmph.

Revamped the Voodoo Doll, which I'm much happier with now. I also added a Pink Leopard Maneki Neko to the bunch. I'll get better pics of both of these little darlings shortly.

I made another Valentine Batling for a trade (the other one sold!) and tried to make a chibi voodoo doll.

I'm not totally pleased with the voodoo doll though. I need to think about it some more. Maybe different colors? Hmm...

More Valentine Batling Keychain Plush!

The white one makes me think of Honduran white bats. Yes, there are white bats! Super cute little powder puffs that hang out under big jungle leaves.

These cute critters will be up in my shop in a couple days. Color requests are welcome!

A Valentine Batling with more on the way!

Overlord of all he surveys! Which is honestly not much from his thready perch but he seems fine with it.

Inspired by the colors of Nadja's Robot ♥.

Be on the lookout for him in my shop. This cutey will come on a ballchain so you can put him on your keyring, have him ride along on your bag strap, or just hang around as an adorable ornament.

EtsyDarkTeam's Year Long Birthday Swap, Pt 2: IllustratedInk

As I mentioned in my previous post, I got to create for two of my EtsyDarkTeam mates. My second Birthday Swap gift was for IllustratedInk.

IllustratedInk is a fan of tattoo art and Dia de los Muertos items so I made her a 8" x 5.5" El Corazon patch. It was free-motion stitched on a Pfaff 230 with a little help from the embroidery functions on the arrow. I took my inspiration from the El Corazon card in the spanish game of Loteria.

It's done on black brocade with red, yellow & blue stitching and has a red satin ribbon border. It can either be framed ~or~ ironed onto almost any fabric item since I backed it with Wonder Under.

I'm still loving the popup bat idea so I made IllustratedInk a similar card. Again, the template for the popup bat came from here.

  

Too bad I have to wait until September to find out what I get! I'm sure it will be awesome.
