White Rabbit Art Doll

He's late for a very important date! With you. He really needs someone to serve him a spot of calming tea. The whole Wunderland thing still has him in a really tizzy.

♦ Height: Approximately 14.5" standing (not including those long ears!) & 10" sitting

His arms and legs are shunt-jointed with metal buttons & embroidery floss making him semi-poseable. His eyes are layered button. Mr. Rabbit's body is a printed white Cotton that makes me think of frost on a window, and has striped dark pink Jacquard inner ears. His vest is gold Brocade on one side and lined in grey Cotton blend. A matching snazzy bowtie is made of the same materials as his vest plus a little black grosgrain ribbon. Hand embroidered felt accents and detail work!

NOTE: This item is not meant for young children and prefers the touch of a "big kid" collector. This art doll can be played with, but gently.

I ship within the US and to Cnd, Aus, Jpn & the EU.

Gothy Beans Stitches

As an artist/designer/seamstrix/whatever it's a great feeling when you realize people that run some of your favorite websites are buying from you!

I had a custom request for a Scrap Bat™ back in November from a username that seemed familiar but I didn't dwell on it right then because I was busy with the pre-holiday.

Once I finish the custom Scrap Bat I went to send her a message, of course, and her icon of Mr. D finally fully lit the flickering bulb over my head... GOTHYBEANS?! That GothyBeans? Oh... OH! *giggled like a little girl*

I have now, yet again, had the honor of creating for her one of her very own characters. Meet Funny Bunny!

If you have never read the Gothy Beans comic strip you really are missing out. It's gothic, sarcastic, and just a wee bit silly. I love it!

Gears Tie - OOAK applique vintage zipper neck tie recycle

Ties are such a pain to tie, so why bother? Here's a steampunked zipper tie to ease your woes.

I have cut and layered each gear in detail by hand --6 pcs per gear!-- out of Gold & Black Brocade and patiently top stitched every piece. No embroidery machine was used in the creation of this tie!

♦ The tie is a vintage 80s tie.
♦ Permanent knot.
♦ Built in zipper for easy on/off.
♦ Satin, grey-green in color, with a small subtle box design (Shocking, I know. It is from the 80s after all.)

See listing for more info. No US shipping charge!

Winter Wondrous!

So on the night of our first snow I finally finished my niece's holiday dress.

This is the first time I've done a dress like this and on such a small scale (3T) so of course I went all out. The dress is Silk, the Sash & custom made trim is Satin Brocade and the lining is Satin. To top it all off the hem, lining & casing were all stitched by hand! I'm insane, I know, but I think it was all worth it. I can't wait to have pics of her wearing it!

See, Sis? Not everything I make is black!! :p

Death of the White Rabbit

Time ran out...

Rabbit was obviously late, never to be on time again, and none to happy for it...

Malice could care less and had had enough of chasing that fool rabbit.

Land & Sea ~or~ It's Been Too Long!

My latest batch of custom work comes from one of my faaaavorite customers. Not just because he (yes HE) pays on time and never haggles me but he comes up with some challenging stuff!
You may remember the Lemur Doll:

Well, he requested an XL version of it! The size of my XL Zombie Monkeys!

Uber Lemur complete!! *whew*
[image] [image]
11.5"H with a 22"+ tail!! It's wired and pose-able oooooh :D (which I had to sew into the body by hand!)

He also requested these:

Lg Dolphin = 15"L x 10"W x 5" & 15" around
[image]

And the XL Kawaii Piggy in pink ( ::)) = 10"L x 5.75"T x 6"W & 18" around
It is ridiculously cute though, I admit.
